I want to like the show and mostly it does but somehow it's all nonsense.

Cinematography is great and I like the setting of Montana. I always like 'westerns' or medieval time movies.

But the main characters are mostly unlikable and I get the feeling the show is written by people who don't understand the people where the show is all about. In other words, progressive Hollywood writing a show about conservative Montana. That's never a good combo because in their worldview there's only one opinion the right one.

The characters are also not very consistent in their actions and behavior.

John Dutton is a horrible father and he and his family are also horrible, criminal and maffia like. Cowboys are all dumb aggressive man who want to fight. I can't imagine people live like this and I'm sure people in real life are more social especially where everyone knows everyone.

I come from a 'conservative' community where everyone knows everyone, down to earth, hardworking people and familyis important. If you would behave like the Duttons, nobody would do business with you and you probably would be disconnected. No the Duttons behavior are more like big city hot shots with no bonding to the people and community and just want to have more power and money.

Lets continue. The Indian Chief is also unlikable and not trustworthy. The Indians in general are offcourse 'victims' of white colonist. The wife of Kayce suddenly became an activist and has two versions of history and we know which version she wants to tell. Well I like history and real history is based on facts and not storytelling and feelings.

I haven't watched all seasons so I really hope something is going to change for the better.

I really liked the show. Great performance of the leading actors and great filmed. Sometimes I think it was too slow and too much focus on the characters in the control room instead of the urgency of the disaster.

BUT, I can't believe this really happened the way it's shown in the series. I mean, besides a few man nobody has any clue what to do. Nobody sees the urgency to act. Everyone is behaving like sheep. No expertise, no equipment even after days.

Is it so hard to get equipment by helicopter and after 7 days they can't find a way to the plant.

I also don't see any people on the floor. No maintenance, technicians, engineers, experts. Nothing only a few operators in a control room.

The whole disaster is handled by a dozen people and a firetruck.

I'm an engineer my self and no I don't have any experience on a nuclear facility but on our plant the technicians or engineers know everything and know exactly how everything is running so when there's a malfunction or power blackout we act immediately and know which valves or power circuits we need fix or operate manually.

So I'm flabbergasted about the lack of knowledge inside a nuclear plant and the lack of urgency.

Maybe it's part of Japanese culture or the filmmakers didn't portray it well and it went different in real life or the filmmakers did it on purpose to show us the flaws of the organization.

Also communication/acting is weird sometimes and maybe it's culture or just inexperienced actors.

But still great show to watch and really liked it.

Okay it's not the best movie out there but it's not as bad as some reviews say it is. I think it's pretty entertaining and it's more about two people in love rather than a apocalypse action movie.

It starts a bit slow and boring but after a while it got my attention and was more thriller like.

It's just a average movie but above many of the Netflix productions lately.
