Vasan Bala has delivered a potential National Award winner in multiple departments. Story, Screenplay, Cinematography, Acting Performances, Direction, Songs that totally suit the mood of the film, Background Score, Top Notch Casting, just name it and film works and works well in every aspect. Alia Bhatt is a true blue superstar of this generation and she proves why with yet another winner performance. She has a National Award to her name and with Jigra she totally justifies it and in fact, puts her foot forward for another one in some style. About Vedang Raina, never felt like he is a newcomer. Such a nuanced performance with so much ease and calmness, he has arrived and he is going to stay here. Next big thing without an iota of doubt. Manoj Pahwa sir adds life to an already extraordinary thriller with all his experience and makes every single minute of his appearance a delight to watch. Achint has done a phenomenal job with music and background score. It totally takes you in with the drama and makes you feel you are too part of it. All in all, Jigra is a MUST WATCH!
Its 2024 and people are still making movies like these. Not only it is outdated, but also irritating to its core. What were they even thinking while making this piece of crap? Sad to see an actor of Manoj Bajpayee's caliber wasting his time and energy on a film like this. Never thought would say this about him some day, but this one is so bad that even Manoj's acting starts frustrating you after a point thanks to its poor screenplay, outdated plot and a story that neither makes sense nor entertains. Substandard casting apart from Manoj is another thing that makes Bhaiyya ji unbearable at many places. Director deserves the onus of this disaster but also writer who thought something like this.
Had minimum expectations before watching but ended up entertained with its fun plot and amazing blend of horror with periodic dose of humor as well as emotional moments. Aditya Sarpotdar has yet again managed to deliver an entertaining movie at the minimum if not more than that. Sonakshi, Riteish, Saqib among others in their top form and played their respective parts to perfection. Their comic timing is impeccable that is crucial to a spoof comedy like what Kakuda has to offer. Give it a try, it won't disappoint you. The only area where film lacks a bit is the music, At least one memorable song would have helped its cause big time.
