The directors of this documentary started with the premise "conservatives use race to amass power" and filmed only to support this very narrow narrative... and perhaps there is an ounce of truth in it, but the fuller truth is that the foiks funding this documentary (spoiler alert: they are all far, far left liberals) are many times over more guilty of the very thing they are pointing their finger at. Everyone I know (which includes mostly progressives, a fair number of "independents", and yes, even a handful of MAGA cultists) see through this work as pure, biased political propaganda. I hope a day comes when there is a bit more introspection for all parties, because this could have been a much, much more informative and thought-provoking film.

Loved the book. Loved the movie. It was a 10 in my book. Great musical score. Also I never once felt the movie was stealing elements from other movies. Original elements included throughout from the ridiculously cool space ships to the smallest detail. I liked the acting as well. The movie was fantastic. I could watch it again tomorrow. Probably will.
