Wow! I did not expect the person to be that person until the very second it was confirmed!
What a crazy story, like insanity-level crazy!
I don't want to spoil so i'm not going to say who it is, but let me say this:
The person is a very sick individual. I truly believe that the person should not under any circumstances be around children, ever. The person seems to be a narcissist, possibly on the level of psycopathy. It's a dangerous person, and if I was living in that town, I would avoid the person every single way possible.
The victims in this story, I really feel for them. This consumed a large portion of their youth and clouded days that should have been bright. I'm so glad that it didn't break the victims entirely and caused them to commit suicide or something because that could have become a very real consequence of the almost TWO YEARS of constant harassment and bullying. I hope they can trust people again and that this doesn't cause them to question every person who they get close to. I hope they heal and overcome this crazy ordeal! Thank god for FBI and for them being able to uncover the truth.

The documentary is well made just as the creators other documentaries. When it comes to the story, it was nice to hear from people we haven't heard from before.
After this documentary I however have to say that I am still conflicted. I simply can not believe Smollett, and it is because of his behavior after the incident. I don't know how or who might have been involved but for me that isn't the important thing, the important thing is that I actually believe that Jussie staged the entire thing.
He simply isn't believable, neither when speaking about it with his language and body language, but also because of his behavior surrounding the assault. It's mostly because of the rope, how he handled it, putting it in for the police to see and the fact that he didn't seem shaken at all. I think he was trying to either boost his career by becoming more talked about, or he wanted to boost the discussion around race in Chicago bc he cares about racial discrimination and the issues that Chicago has with it.
I'm sorry, but he just isn't believable.

This series is very "in your face" with how brutal injuries can be from both accidents and straight-on assault. I genuinely love how we get to both see it all of how it's done (it's amazing what people in medicine can do and does do!) AND get to know the people behind it, victims, doctors, nurses, students, families and more.
My heart broke for one young man who showed instant signs of severe PTSD after a brutal assault, and I hope he gets the therapeutic help that he needs. What he experienced could break anyone and everyone, and I really do wish him all the best. Stay strong, Jack!
