Ok so I wanna start by saying I think this was a really good movie I can absolutely appreciate it for what it is BUT it's not for me, I personally didn't like it much. So the 8/10 is a mix between my objective rating (9/10) but I personally think it's more like 7/10.

First of all it was way too long it was kinda cut up into vignettes, but some of the vignettes were way longer than they had to be especially the first couple but all the characters well written and more importantly very well acted so I can forgive it.

Next I wanna highlight that l LOVE the vignette style and I've been wanting a movie like this for a long time, each one focuses on one individual and starts before the last then ends after the last so slowly throughout the movie we learn what's going on through the eyes of every individual.

Also as I said the movie and an amazing cast and had some real emotion at time that I adore. It also had a few good moments of dark humor, which all the gags in this movie were really dependent on dark humor so if you like that kinda thing I can imagine you'd enjoy this movie

Finally I think the mystery was really well done in the beginning but I do think they kinda dropped the ball towards the end and it felt just a little underbaked and can leave you feeling that it was a bit of a generic way to end off. Regardless it's overall a very well done movie overall and i absolutely recommend everyone at least give it a shot to see if they like it.

It's a perfect dinosaur movie with good practical effects along with good cgi!... Well it's almost perfect all you have to do is cut out every scene that doesn't contain a dinosaur.. I'm sorry I personally love this movie but I can't give it any higher then a 4, because the human characters are just unbearable. If you go in expecting a good movie you will be beyond disappointed, this is an absolutely terrible movie, but if you go in just wanting good dinosaurs this is the movie for you. It has easily the best dinosaur scenes in the entire franchise maybe even the best dinosaurs of any movie ever, it just has the worst everything else in the entire franchise.
