Ok, so as a Swede I am well aware of the reputation Swedish (particularly summer) movies have in Sweden. Formulaic, cheesy and with a style that seems like every director took the same university class. They're not the best things you'll ever watch but few are as bad as this. I found it completely unbelievable. From the shaky, out of tune singing to the whiplash relationship. It could've been 30 minutes shorter and it would still not be a good movie but it would be less torturous. I guess maybe it would be a fun summer movie it wasn't for the amount of arguing and unnecessary drama. I wish it would've focused more on the tender moments and conversations they have as this feels sorely missed when you consider the movie seriously wants you to believe this is a real relationship that is going to last forever. That's not the feeling I got and I'm a lesbian and we are known for our drama (the L word...) , this felt like two bored horny people who found each other but it could've been someone else and it wouldn't have mattered.

Everyone is punchable , whiney and gives you no reason to give a toss about their lives or story. The main character Megan I think she's called is the worst. She's the kind of millennial that makes gen z think we hate all millennials when in reality it's just the ones who like Lena Dunham feel like it's still interesting to watch or hear about the lives of now 40 something women who have money and privilege and yet never stop complaining. It's not funny, it's not even a good hangover watch, it's just boring and infuriating and the only people I think will enjoy this are the Lena Dunhams of the world. Skip it and watch Hacks instead if you want a show that's actually funny and manages to have unlikeable characters that have enough nuance to make you not hate them entirely.
