Quite a cast! Clive Brook and Vivienne Osborne are man and wife with.two children, Dickie Moore and Marilyn Knowlden. Vamp Juliette Compton comes between them. Routine situation but the way the wife handles it is the interesting part of the film. Vivienne Osborne is excellent as the wife.

The rest of the great cast includes Charles Ruggles, Elizabeth Patterson, Charles Winninger, Adrienne Ames, Harry Bannister and Noel Francis.

Paul Lukas sends fellow crook Evelyn Brent to steal an expensive necklace. She gets involved with Clive Brook, who is madly in love with her and allegedly a detective.

The matron of an American family visiting Nice on the Riviera is the owner of the necklace. Eugene Pallette, Helen Ware and Virginia Bruce play the family members. Henry Wadsworth is Bruce's boyfriend. Pallette functions as the film's comedy relief.

Brent and Brook are both very good in their roles. The film holds one's interest.

The whole cast is wonderful. Many people today can't relate to stars like Ruth Chatterton and Clive Brook. To me, Chatterton was a great actress. Her speaking voice was beautiful and she conveyed great and subtle emotion with her face. Brook seems stiff to some people. To me, he was handsome, he spoke his lines clearly and he had a perfect posture, so I can't find any fault with this fine actor.

Mary Nolan, William Powell and Laura Hope Crews are all good in the supporting roles.
