I watched the first series, and learned a lot, even with my elderly age of 60+. I found it engaging, engrossing and ensightful. I even learned things I had not heard of before, nor even thought of. Then came season 2.
An irritating piece of you know what. I don't have the energy to confirm what I believe has happened.
This series was taken over by some entity and used for whatever means they wanted. As soon as I heard an american accent on episode 1, I knew the series was doomed to fail. History would have no validity.
Documentaries are suppoed to be impartial, so are documentary series. Series 1 did exactly that, series 2 is American. Enough said.

I was looking forward to this series, how disappointing the first episode has turned out to be. I found 3 problems within the first half hour.
1. A pilot drinking beer during a briefing. When did anyone drink alcohol at any briefing?
2. A Marine is part of the intake being followed. How or where are his flying credintials shown?
3. Top Gun was designed for Naval Aviators, when did non flyers be accepted into the programme?
I know that The Marine Corps have aviation capabilities however, they are strictly limited in what aircraft they are allowed to use. Fast Jets are definitely not one of the aircraft assigned to their units.
Having worked in military aviation, and served my country for 32 years, the title of my review says it all, not impressed.

I was intrigued to watch this movie, essentially because it was in Irish, and had well known Irish actors.
Apparently, it was also the first Irish dialogue movie to be shown on the Irish TV station, TV4.
I finally came across this movie, looked forward to watching it, and thwn, BAMM. One clip destroyed it for me.
The opening scene depicted Pinnochio, fair enough. What killed it for me was after the opening sequence.
The backroom scene started with good news bad news. The good news was given, the bad news never appeared. Should I have to say any more?
