Nat Faxon

At the 2012 Academy Awards, Faxon shared the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay with Alexander Payne(I) and Jim Rash for "The Descendants". Their screenplay had been circulating in Hollywood for several years and in 2008 had been featured on "The Black List" of well-liked but as yet unproduced scripts as recognized by Hollywood executives.

There's something about the schedule of working in TV that's attractive. You know exactly what the next six months is going to be like: You'll work Monday through Friday and have the weekends off, and then there's going to be a hiatus here, so you can kind of plan a little bit.
