Susan Heldfond and Stephen Talbot ("Gilbert" on Il carissimo Billy (1957) appeared together in a play, "Charlie's Aunt," at Harvard (now Harvard-Westlake) High School in North Hollywood. They were active together in the anti-Vietnam war movement throughout their college years, working together on "March on Washington" (1969), the film that began Talbot's long career as a documentary producer, mainly for PBS.
