Auditioned for the role of Elena Gilbert/Katherine Pierce in The Vampire Diaries (2009), which went to Nina Dobrev. Her eventual husband Paul Wesley got the role of Stefan Salvatore in the series. 3 years later, she played Meredith Fell in the series and divorced Wesley, 6 months after her last episode aired.

Obviously I ask my family and loved ones for advice here and there, but I kind of have a rule with the people I love that surround me - close family and close friends - that unless I ask for it, I don't really want advice thrown out.
