In the letters to Lizzie Le Prince and in both Lizzie and Adolph Le Prince's autobiographies they always refer to this woman as Annie. Her letters are signed Annie. Someone somewhere much later inputted her name as Harriet. This is incorrect. E Kilburn Scott who documented Louis Le Prince's work in a pamphlet now house in Leeds Central Library also calls her Annie. He of course also knew her.
