Kristy studied under Cindy Vanden Enden and Tanya Ryga at Playhouse North School of Theatre, graduating from the two year conservatory in 2009 before training at the Professional Actors Lab & Second City Toronto. Her work as a TV writer is informed by this Meisner technique training and background in the theatre.
