Has 35 years of experience in Shotokan Karate with a 5th Dan Black Belt. He also studied Aikido, Judo and Jujitsu. He masters weapons such as the Bo, Sai, Escrima Sticks, Nunchaku and the Samurai Sword. He was a martial arts competitor for 25 years and is a two time National Champion. He was inducted in the Masters Hall of Fame in 2016.
