    Wow!

    This movie was not what I was expecting! Much better than I had anticipated! We all need a "Wes" in our lives to support and to encourage us. --a parent like him, but that's not always the case. The relationship between Shelly and Wes ends up being far more meaningful than I could have ever imagined. Wes' intentions are honorable and NEVER creepy. I intend to buy this movie so that I can re-watch it as many times as I want. I think this movie is THAT good. The many relationships in this movie felt very genuine. Forgot I was watching a movie. What a wonderful surprise. The ending was nice and hopeful.

    This is gripping and emotional. I haven't seen a movie like this. Strong characters, actual depiction of life stages and beautifully articulated social perceptions.

    Totally Surprised Amazing Movie

    I thought this movie was going to be about something completely different. It is a beautiful story, and a new favourite of mine.

    A movie, really?????

    As I write this review a rating of over 7 is far too high. I'm not really too sure why so many people rave about this. To my mind it's like an extended episode of Beverley Hills 90210. It's slow. Ponderous and the acting is average at best.

    The story is odd and why a very rich guy would just take in a random makes no sense and makes for a completely unrealistic journey. I ended up not caring about any of the people in this simply because the movie?? Just didn't work for me at all. As the story progressed it actually gets worse and becomes even slower. This could have been done in an hour very easily.

    ... doesn't matter how long it takes, long as you find them

    ... entire cast makes this wonderful production work... from the two leads down, every cast member pulls weight... Maddie Hasson ripping doors off with her portrayal of Shelly... Maddie is gorgeous and she's multi-talented... and should right now have several works in varying stages of production were the world on the right track

    ... not yet a thousand people have rated this movie.. of those that have, 18 to 29 year-olds rated it the best.. nearly a 9-rating - that's huge... sure it ticks off all the boxes stereotypical of the genre.. yet ALL the actors make this very enjoyable film worth watching again-n-again.
