I believe this show relies heavily on the subject matter of it to keep viewers watching. The production does a great job with pacing, info, and interviews. The main issue here is the production value itself. There are a few scenes where they attempt to emulate news reports and radio dispatch, but it is done poorly so it takes you out of the show itself. There are even a few parts where cameras are shaky along with inconsistent story following where it jumps around a bit too much and makes things harder to follow. There also are times where the needed information is lacking and not communicated to the viewer very well. All in all though- quality show that does a proficient job at telling harrowing stories of kidnapping victims, but lacks in production value.
