La Chiamata prologo: origine del male

I was pretty captivated throughout, although it did have it's clunky moments but not too many of them and they quickly worked their way out of them.

The cast did a superb job, the horror elements of the first movie, existed inside the institute.

Overall this was a pleasant surprise with moments of nail-biting suspense. Definitely worth the watch on a dark and quiet night.

A crazy tale of wonder inside the institute that show us the horror lived by the patients that live there, one of the best short movies about mental patients, and the crazy and deranged killers that dwelled inside those rooms.

A very scary movie, full of dark memories.

I saw this prequel on CFT channel, were it all begins, with the mental institute, that has more criminals than mental patients, the doctors there torture them, without regrets, until our villains reveal themselves, and breeder gets out to free the masked killer, and all hell breaks loose, when the escape begins, the direction is great, the actors did a fine job, i have to congratulate the production designer, he a spectacular job, the underground of the institute is absolutely terrifying, it s a great short and i expect to see more in the future cause i think this franchise has much more to give.

All in all 7/10.

The Call duology and it´s prologue is director´s Rui Constantino´s baby, he brings us, this twisted tale of two brother that escape the institute only to bring chaos to Lisbon. This prologue brings to us their memories to life, horror, gore, hell. It´s all here.

So, i have to say it was suspenseful, intriguing, dramatic, thrilling and in a way horrifically ironic. You will understand what i mean, when the end is near. This is a tight film. You won't find yourself looking at your phone, ever. Hence, I highly recommend it. It's a great prequel, about the inhumane way the medical practice dealt with the mentally ill in the past, and this is truly shown in this short movie. it's an insane journey, inside of the institute, a Gothic thriller with a lot of chills. it's very well directed, i want to encourage you to watch it, if you're in two minds, you won't be disappointed.
