The movie could be amazing but, great actress ans actor, great production. But we have to remove the deaf of the movie ! YOU have to subtract the deaf of Suky ! And you will have an hint with four letters, of the treasure place ..
My immediate reaction when watching was to notice the incredible cinematography, it is really very well filmed and edited and it has an aesthetic appeal you don't see in million dollar productions. However, while I see a meaning beyond the basic scenes, I feel the characters could be more developed through dialogue or some sort of backstory. I would describe it as a snapshot from a longer film, and I would love to see a larger storyline in the future.
Overall an amazing first short film, good job to Noel (and cast and crew), hopefully we'll see even more from you in the future! :)

I love noel miller. i have a huge amount of respect for him and it is clear that he is extremely passionate about this project.
that said, i am reviewing this subjectively. suki is well shot, but lies pretty empty in character development and storyline. who is suki? why does she kill? its not a sin to leave questions unanswered in films, but this seems more careless than an artistic choice.
this film doesn't try to get very deep, and i respect that. but in a film about a killer, i would suggest to focus more on them than suki does.

I'm a great fan of the podcast, TMG. Thus, I was very excited to see that Noel Miller had published his first short film with a semi-professional production.
What really stood out to me was the emotional ambience during the action scenes. The police raid and eerie distress caused by Suki's crimes worked really well with the dystopian music theme and almost psychedelic visual editing. In generel, the visuals were quite pleasing and exciting throughout the entire run-time.
However, I found the dialog to be a bit stiff and emotionless. I don't think it matched well with the themes in the film. I also think that more could have been done to establish Suki's character. It did not have to be much but a bit more character development could have been done quite inexpensively (monetarily and creativly wise).
With that being said: I really enjoyed it. Taking into consideration that it is Noel Miller's first short film. I attend film school in Denmark. A lot of submissions at school are far less impressive than Suki. I will definitely pass this around to my fellow film enthusiasts.
Keep at it! You have got the talent, Miller!
