    Episode 2.2

It is the aftermath of the punch up at the restaurant.

Well surprisingly Fleabag's cafe is doing well. Chatty Wednesday is a success where lonely people come in and talk to strangers.

Of course, Fleabag is now a churchgoer. She fancies the Catholic priest. She even tells this to the therapist.

A much stronger second series continues and Andrew Scott has been a very good addition to the cast.

    Tell her to leave him

    Yet another solid episode!

I don't know if this is actually a 9/10, but I was laughing for pretty much the entire runtime, so I couldn't help but love it. I love the way this series is edited. The technical gags there are especially effective. I guess I can see why some probably hate this style of humor, rather it be the editing or the quips and quick-joke delivery. I personally think it's great.

This is actually a funny, filler episode though (although it os very hilarious). We learn Fleabag's cafe IS actually doing really well. We learn more about her personal life and issues through that therapy session. And she and Claire are on speaking terms again. I wasn't expecting that to happen this early on, but I do think it's actually believable. Their relationship is the best one in the whole series so I'm glad.

These first two episodes were great and I can't wait to watch the rest of the series now.

A Bit Mediocre After An Amazing Start

This episode was good with some funny jokes here and there and the story progressed like it should have been. The editing is still marvelous and the therapy session was cleverly written. I don't like the antagonization of Martin because he is kind of right in his own perspective. I am not saying what Martin is doing is right, I just think that this show doesn't need an antagonist because there is actually no antagonists in real life rather than a few exceptions, everyone is on its own. Fleabag is having problems with a lot of people not because they are good or bad but because that is what being a human is. We already empathize with Fleabag, because she feels real. We don't need an antagonist like Martin to pick her side.

    Another strong episode

Fleabag pursues the priest and deals with the fallout of punching her brother-in-law.

The comedy comes thick and fast in this episode and the therapy session is very good.

It starts very well with Fleabag's general behaviour and body language in church having great comic timing. Plus the music and editing enhances the humour as always.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has plenty of great dialogue exchanges with the likes of Andrew Scott, Olivia Coleman and Fiona Shaw. Plus I thought the scene with Ray Fearon as the lawyer was very funny.

All cast are on great form, particularly Coleman who lives and breathes the character and reminds me (slightly) of Ricky Gervais' David Brent in her delivery of excruciatingly painful bitchy dialogue.

    Continuing On After the MIscarriage

Fleabag is first of all dealing with the ass that is marrying her sister (whom she punched). Secondly, she is keeping the secret of the miscarriage, with everyone thinking she is the one. Finally, there is her attraction to the priest who was at the awful dinner party. This doesn't have the flow and spark of the first episode, but it's still pretty damned unique.

Fleabag's café is now called Hilary's Café, apparently named after Boo's guinea pig.
    • Blooper
Immediately after the title there is a rear view within the church where Fleabag and other parishioners are singing from hymnal books held in their hands. They are singing the closing lyrics to: "Bread of heaven, on Thee we feed". In the next view the camera angle is from the front of the church and of all the parishioners in view only Fleabag is holding her hymnal book.
