A trivial little porn video, "Love Potion" (a/k/a/ "Love Potion #8) is quite entertaining. For some reason it has a spirit of fun to it lacking from the lion's share of throwaway porn comedies cranked out by the bushel load in the VHS era.
Ona Zee is delightful as a horny fortune teller who offers her customers a Love Potion that is strong stuff -there's a marvelously cheap SPFX sequence when our hero played by T. T. Boy takes it. It works like an aphrodisiac, making the drinker irresistible and full of vigor too.
A series of customers get turned on, and the sex scenes are well-played. Especially amusing is Ona ritualistically chanting the lyrics of the Beatles' catchy "Ob-La-Di, Ob La Da" every time she gets the potion ready. Even Ron Jeremy, as a a janitor, is fun pretending to be the "day fortune teller" in her absence, and getting to have anal sex with cutie Nicole London.
Samantha York is hot as another customer and so is Sierra as Zee's daughter, and Alicia Rio's beauty is used ironically as T. T. Boy's demanding lover. I also appreciated several NonSex actors earning screen credits.
