The New Tic Tac Dough

First off, I must say that this is a fun game show. Also, since I'm 24, I haven't seen every episode. However, I do know the show very well. Every time I've watched it, I've had a lot of fun playing along and watching. Despite the fact that it's finished its run, this makes me long to be a contestant. The thing I like most about it are the questions. Also, even though I don't know that many answers, I still have fun playing along. I hope the Game Show Network keeps it on so I can play along and watch for years to come. If that happens, I will be really happy. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever once it stops airing for good. Now, in conclusion, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.

I've seen this on Game Show Network in 2000, but only in bits and pieces of it! This was a very good game show from the 80s, this "Tic Tac Dough." I remember the weird synth tune that played at the beginning; the AMC station wagon that was always given away, and best of all, I liked the board! Kind of like what you would see on "Press Your Luck," the graphics and sounds all look and sound like the board was created and operated on one of those ancient Apples. (bloop bloop bloop bloop bloop bloop!!!!!) The dragon was awesome, because of the self-draw-in and that fake roaring sound!!!!! LOL

Anyways, that's what I remember about this show. I hope GSN decides to bring back this show soon. It's nice to see that network bounce back from their "Dark Period of the 2000s!!!!!" While Disney has it's "Dark Period," I'll be watching the classic game shows!!!!!

I remember being 3 or 4 years old and having my eyes glued to the screen when this show was on. My favorite part was when they had that bonus round where they had to avoid the "dragon", which, to be honest with you, sounded like a cat growling. In other words, if you found it, you'd be more amused than disappointed. But other than that, to this day, it's till one of my all-time favorite game shows. Sure, the theme song sounds VERY cheesy by today's standards, but it's still fun to watch. And by the way, I liked the version with Wink Martindale much better than the remake. The guy who hosted the remake was SOOOO annoying! All in all, a really good show.

I would just like to say that if you haven't watched Tic Tac Dough on Game Show Network, you are missing out on a neat game! I think that Hollywood Squares is a revival of Tic Tac Dough and it has the same concept where you answer questions to gain an X or and O but you don't have stars as panelists, you have an electronic board, sort of like Jeopardy!. I really like it, perhaps you will too.

From the creative minds of Jack Barry and Dan Enright, this children's game basis becomes a quiz show. This is a really nice game show format. I saw this when I was like about 3 years old. This game is unique in its own way. Right after beating your opponent, you get to play a bonus game called "Beat The Dragon". I named the dragon "Bowser", because in the graphics of the computers at that time, he somewhat looked like King Bowser from Super Mario Bros.

The video arcade game manufacturer Merit Industries made a similar video game machine called "Tic Tac Trivia". I once played that as a child in the summer of 1987.

Tic Tac Dough deserves to stay on GSN. Now that I got a satellite dish and GSN, I can enjoy this version. As a video gamer, I think Tic Tac Dough should be available as a digital download for the PlayStation Network service for PS3 and the XBOX Live Arcade Service for XBOX 360.
