Madhu and Srividya are old lovers in a small town . But due to his poverty he loses her . Dejected , he leaves town .
He is also haunted by his sister's torturous death at the hands of the villain.
He returns back to his home town a rich man . The very town folk who betrayed him are now unable to recognize him due to his wealthy life style .
He realises that his old lover Srividya is married to the villain who runs a smuggling business .
A lot of twists and turns later , he manages to take his revenge.
An old formula . Srividya is ethereal in simple sarees. Madhu manages to hold on his own needs no introduction .
