Of the six episodes produced, five are believed to be lost. The exception is The Corpse Can't Play (1968), which only survives as a monochrome 16mm film copy of the original colour videotape master. A colourised version of this print was also released on DVD in 2022.
Additionally, a brief to-camera trailer performed by Valentine Dyall in his Man in Black persona (from BBC Radio's "Appointment with Fear") on the night of the opening broadcast is also held.

The series aired on NZBC in New Zealand over March-April 1971. It was only a five-week run, as William and Mary (1968) was omitted.
The series was repeated only once, shown on BBC1 between December 1969-March 1970, but the order of the episodes was changed: The Bells of Hell (1968), The Kiss of Blood (1968), No Such Thing as a Vampire (1968), The Triumph of Death (1968), The Corpse Can't Play (1968) and William and Mary (1968).
