When Haley Simmons' mother dies from an apparent heart attack, she is inconsolable. Three months later, her boyfriend Dylan and best friend Cathy are there for her. She discovers an old telephone that can call into the past like w time traveling telephone invented by her grandfather. What begins as fun becomes serious, Haley investigates her mother's death and could the present be changed. Her mother's sudden death may have been preventable but how. I bought this DVD because of the actor, Michael Muhney, who plays Dylan in it. The director has written and directed a believable film. They filmed on located in Monticello and Urbana, Illinois. The film is a nice departure from Hollywood. The cast do a fine job in their roles. There are a few unanswered questions. I enjoyed Devorah Richards as Sonya Simmons, Haley's mother. There are few criticisms towards what happened that afternoon in the house.
