How can one dispute testimony by the Winter Soldiers before Congress. They're documented facts in both ink and celluloid. If you never see the video at least read the transcripts. So IMDb users who dispute what Red, White and Blue Production are distributing have to be "a special kind of stupid." We shouldn't rewrite history for the sake of an opportunist with deep pockets or because we don't like the messenger.
Only a few individuals will ever see this one sided documentary but I have to admit its the best 20 dollars I've ever spent.
It is interesting as you watch this movie to think about why there are currently lawsuits filed by Kerry and his stand-ins to still yet prevent its distribution. The answer is most likely due to its exposure of the transparent efforts of the DNC to paint Kerry as a war hero, which he clearly was not. Try this link for more information about the ongoing lawsuits as of 10/2005: http://www.vvlf.org/
Get it!! Netflix will soon carry it also.
If you're old enough to remember Vietnam, then you won't find anything new here. There is no new evidence to condemn John Kerry or new evidence worthy of another documentary on Vietnam. Younger viewers who are interested in the subject should see George Butler's excellent film Going Upriver! Stolen Honor was clearly meant to be a hatchet job on John Kerry, but it fails miserably at accomplishing that goal.
The folks who made this documentary have just as much right to express their views as Michael Moore in his documentary, or as CBS News in its biased reports based on false documents.
There are many American Vietnam era veterans and POWs who truly believe they were hurt by the positions taken by a young John F. Kerry upon his return from his extremely short four month tour of duty in Vietnam.
These veterans have a right to exercise their free speech rights, and Sinclair Broadcasting Group has as much right as CBS news to report on this newsworthy event.
