In this fine episode Blue and Manolito are riding together when they see two Apaches chasing another and shooting him, they disappears aftermaths on the bushes, both approaching of the Apache lies on the ground about to die, he mumbles at Manolito's hear about to come, a medicine man Nock-Ay-Dell will appears on High Chaparral ranch at Cochise's behest to offer a peace agreement with Big John, however he warns Manolito that Apache warrior named Soldado will be there to kill Nok-Ay-Dell whereof considers a traitor of Apache nation due after so many killing carried out by with men no peace is allowed.
Meanwhile at Ranch Chaparral such medicine man Nock-Ay-Dell just arrives to meet Big John to talk about a possible peace between them, Big John envisages this first gesture that both can reach in a fair agreement, although Buck isn't so trusting, he advises Big John for a possible trap rigged by the Apaches to trigger a war, Nock-Ay-Dell exposes to Big John Cochise's terms, two cows for each Indian female and a horse for each Apache warrior, baffled Big John starting getting nervous over such offer, then at sundown they hearing some noises outsides the ranch, its Soldado and their followers trying kill Cochise's messenger, at same time Manolito and Blue arrives at ranch, they'll have a long night at their life in jeopardy due the unflagging Soldado is decided to kill all them.
I didn't watch The High Chaparral when I was a child, even when I'd moved to São Paulo when this series aired here, so after long time this series began on TCM on early morning, impossible to watch because l have to work in this period, but suddenly for advent of DVD this series come out officially in Brazil totally restored at last.
