Dale jumps overboard after Susan, triggering a man overboard warning and rescue effort. Yet later back on board, the crew doesn't know him or his name and Capt. Stubing, while face-to-face with Dale near the end, says he didn't recall seeing him on the cruise. How can a man overboard be pulled to safety by the ship's crew and the captain does not even recognize him later? Dale and Susan would have been the best-known passengers for the rest of the cruise. And Dale may face repercussions from the cruise line for being a stowaway, making him even more well-known.
