Although they broke some of the rules that shouldn't have been broken in the sequel like Singam3 such as pretending that the couple didn't get married at all although the whole climax in the 1st part of the movie was all about it, all of it just to recreate the love scenes in this part which still bores & lacks engagement, the trade-off was definitely a bad one.
Overall, it is not a bad remake though since it portrays how elections in villages take place, although it is on the lines of the movie: LKG and some of the scenes were still engaging enough to keep the audience to watch it till the end.
