With the exception of "Lamashtu", all of the characters are named after famous actors from popular horror movies: "Susie" (Carolynne Bremmer) is named after Sigourney Weaver (the Alien (1979) franchise); "Jamie" (Jen Potcher) is named after Jamie Lee Curtis (the Halloween - La notte delle streghe (1978) franchise); "Anthony" (Brandon Freeman) is named after Anthony Perkins (the Psyco (1960) franchise); "David" and "Neve" (Brian Telestai and Kerith Telestai) are named after David Arquette and Neve Campbell (the Scream (1996) franchise); "Max" (Dylan Wood) is named after Max von Sydow (L'esorcista (1973) franchise); "Vera" (Elle Stempe) is named after both Vera Farmiga (L'evocazione - The Conjuring (2013) universe) and Vera Miles (also from the Psyco (1960) franchise); and "Greg" (William H. Parker Jr.) is named after Gregory Peck (Il presagio (1976)).
