Everything in the End

The viewer follows a spectrum of characters all dealing with the concept of imminent death. Some are confident and others terrified. Those processing deep losses seem most ready to reconcile with this next phenomenon. The viewer has the opportunity to identify with one or more characters in their own meditation of loss, whether past or what is to come. The wrap-up is surprising and I'm still processing its plausibility and placement. However taken philosophically, one might expect that everything is reconciled, in some manner, in the end. Highly recommend this picturesque journey through Loss.

I loved the state of mind that movie put me into it's really mindful and spiritual for me, and the capturing of the nature at the place of filming is really something and helps you get deep with your thoughts about the whole situation.

To some people the movie might seem some way boring, I understand that. However I think it's a great movie just not for everyone, actually not for most of the people, only few people in this world would understand the ideas this movie is discussing.

I absolutely loved everything about that movie and from now on it's one of my favourite movies of all time.

I salute the movie makers for this very wonderful piece of art.

I love nature and Iceland, the cinema from this land ; so that was a very good opportunity to watch it. Even it had many nomination a prices. But I don´t found any reason in the argument.

Not solid, very experimental but not worth your time, even it is very fast 1 hour and a cuarter. But you feel like you are watching and endless movie.

I find no point, they speak different lenguajes (not traduced in the subtitles) you don´t understand anything, nothing is explained for you the principle character hasn´t got any personality.

The only thing I could say about that is the beautiful cinematography, but with Iceland as set it is no difficult to shot something bad.

I saw it as wise crafted parable, using magnificent cinematography, reminding the importance of human connections.

A young man and the people who he meets. Not the best dialogue but fair connections. A film about family. Well acted, gentle defining the travel of a young man looking for be not alone and using the map made by his mother for discover Island before the imminent fall of world. .

Few great scenes, impressive message and one of stories about things who real matter.

Difficult to write too much because it is a film like a sort of remind or confession. A film about beauty, life essence, about the way to expect the end of world, about curiosity, fear, love and hugs, about words and a cup of tea , about night story for a little boy, said to yourself.

Not fair to identify the motif to see it ( again ). Maybe, before all, because it seems be just a story about yourself. Or for mountain of the last scenes, for church , discovered by audience only out side or houses or tenent of little boy.

The amazing visuals in this film are nicely balanced with a couple big topics: grieving, dealing with mortality, the end of the world. The solemnly heavy themes are magically offset by a powerfully subtle call-without an ounce of being preachy-for love and kindness and I left the film inspired to be a better person. Riveting acting performances amidst the Icelandic landscape calibrate the pace and bring viewers into an immersive and intimate experience. Highly recommend for all lovers of film, especially the themes mentioned above.
