The target for a low budget, independent neo-littic verbal comedy when it comes to midlifecrisis and sexual self development/exploration with the large array of do it yourself erotic toys and gadgets that the free and careless generation x embracess these days. Its all about a bet to become the perfect partener for your spouce and your family.
Even though im old and grumpy and feel the tear and wear of too much dialouging in modern comedy, there are actually many things i reckognize and have experienced from my own life in this film. But it is a bit slow and maybe a bit long on the playtime, but its edgy and flirtingly fresh if you know how to deal with it. So my grumpy old advice is, just dont buy any toys to your mate, cause itll happen sooner than you like when life reach the groundhoggian days, and may become a further issue to discuss...
a small recommend.

I watched this with my wife and we both describe this movie as a mashup of a 90s sex comedy with a family dramedy TV series.
In fact, the scenes dealing with marriage and career resonated with us even more than the sex humor and innuendo (though a lot of that is fun too) so take the marketing with a grain of salt. Overall it's an entertaining watch if you understand that this is a movie for grown-ups with life experience masked behind a dirty premise.

Ok, i see a lot of really harsh reviews for this movie and i can understand what some are saying - BUT - this is more than just a movie. This movie is the american dream and i have nothing but respect for the efforts put forward... no, not because of the silly bet he makes...
In real life, this guy has a dream. He wants to make that dream a reality. So with a very low budget, he writes, directs and stars in his own movie (how awesome is that?!)... he's TRYING to manifest his own wishes. How can you not love that?? Think of this movie as a four track demo that he wants to get into the hands of a big studio exec
Now, make no mistakes, the acting is really not good (i'm trying to be kind)... the premise is a little silly, a little old fashioned i guess (is his goal THAT big of a deal these days), the writing itself is not all that great either, although, would probably seem much better with a better cast delivering these lines, but there are actually SOME parts that are legitimately funny (ie: the car scene when the son falls and the woman won't/can't get out to help him because...) the camera work and overall direction - eh, but as a body of work, and as a man trying to make his own way and follow his dreams, how can you not root for this guy?? Yes, we're basically watching a film students work.
The movie itself is not good, but i can really appreciate the fight! Does no good to make the others feel bad about it all.

It's a family comedy movie about butt sex. Yeah, you read that right. Even though there wasn't any nudity and sex scenes, but it's still meant for adults. It's poorly acted, though. With better actors it could've been a lot better. I mean the story wasn't bad at all. It's funny and has a lot of hearts in it. It's the bad acting and bad cinematography which ruined it. Especially the child actors playing as the couples' kids, they're really lousy at acting. Otherwise, it would've been much better. Someone with more experiences in film making could've made this comedy way better. For now, if you ask me to rate this movie, I give it a five. And that's plenty, considering its flaws. I just like the heartwarming message in this movie, that's why I didn't give it a three (my initial opinion).
What would a family comedy sex film look like? Well, it would look like this film. Nothing graphic, lots of innuendo, and a lot of heart and a main storyline that I think a lot of us can relate to - putting off personal dreams for family responsibility. It's very low budget but that gives it a lot of its charm - it's a film that practices what it preaches - butt sex jokes aside... If you like your humor heartfelt but a little crude, then you will enjoy this film.

- QuizPer the plot of the film, the main character (Frank Tsigas) must lose 50 pounds in 3 months to win a bet with his wife. As the lead actor playing Frank, George A. Tramountanas (in addition to writing, directing, and producing the movie) actually lost 50 pounds over the three months they shot the film. This also necessitated that the production shoot all of the Frank scenes in chronological order over the 12 weekends that they filmed.
- BlooperThe woman who said "I thought her phone was on vibrate" was not present when Laura told the other woman that her phone was on vibrate, so she could not know that the phone was supposed to be on vibrate. The wrong woman was speaking.
