The Throwback

Nowadays it's hard to find a perfect, lighthearted yet meaningful film. The Throwback hits it out of the park! Great acting great writing and great directing, along with a catchy appropriate soundtrack makes this movie a hit. Will Sasso known for his comedy (and he is really funny in this movie, mind you), takes his acting to another level in my opinion in this film. I won't bore with details but just a couple things: First, he kids in this film are hilarious and you really get a feeling that they are actually brothers!!! Secondly, he writing is beautiful- REAL. For example, when we're introduced to Shea, the 19- year old blond neighbor, we think we're meeting a boy-crazy, social media- obsessed party girl. And initially she is. However, as the film goes on, the writing gives her depth and developement that is something beautiful to watch. Lastly veteran comedian Bobby Lee makes the most of his limited screentime & like the sons, steals scenes. I've always thought that Bobby Lee is underrated with this comedy. In my opinion Bobby Lee is an American treasure! 😁
