A Personal View of Tom Terrific

Tom Seaver was and is a baseball icon. This film gives insight to Seaver from childhood up to the end of his life and interest in wines. Tom truly was the heart and soul of the evolution of the NY Mets and touches upon the Mets worst trade in history. While Seaver made his mark in Queens, the Shea faithful truly adopted this California kid as their own. I highly recommend to Seaver fans, Met fans, and baseball fans. Great job by the filmmakers and Edward Burns is a perfect selection as narrator.

Do not be dissuaded by the fact it was made not long before Tom passed away - I think the writers really captured his legacy.
