Run the World

This show is a relief. It literally like candy or a glass of wine at the end of a work week. I enjoy the relatable characters and content and let's not even talk about the costume design. Living in New York at 24 as a North Carolina transplant this definitely brings relief to my day. This show help me enjoy Harlem. It romanticizes my black woman struggles in the city and helps me feel less alone in my mistakes. I love all of the leading actresses and actors. Mr. Ola is definitely eye candy without being overly sexual... love it. Thank you to the writers, designers, creators, performers and technicians for this late night treat.
