Manuela (Nathalia Dill) is a beach volleyball teacher. She's determined, objective and self-confident, always ready to get into a fight. She's never based her happiness on a relationship and never planned on getting married. Until one day, an unexpected encounter happens and she meets Léo (Marcos Veras), a successful, charismatic, extremely seductive, and very romantic pediatrician. The two fall in love and start a life together, but a misunderstanding ends up causing a separation.
