A really disappointing TV series that quickly falls into controversy.
First, it's a 2020 original TV series directed by Jun Maeda for studio P. A. Works.
Kamisama ni Natta Hi is composed of 12 episodes.
It's a fairly honest work with pleasant character design. Humour is omnipresent during the first part of the series. A nice soundtrack. I've read a lot of reviews criticising the darker second half, but that's not something that bothers me in reality. On the contrary, it brings a certain maturity and dynamic to the work.
A good job on the direction side to be fair.
Once the feelings are settled and the entertainment is over, the flaws of this anime come back.
The subjects are nevertheless interesting: Transhumanism, orphan disease, technology, self-acceptance, greed, disability... But the author has chosen the easy solution by focusing only on the feelings with tearful scenes falling into exaggeration and discomfort. Pure laziness.
An uneven division of history, catastrophic inconsistencies; Neglected secondary characters, no development of existential stakes.
For example :
I'll stop there, even though I have a lot of questions.
The author clearly didn't proofread his work and is content to convey messages that are childish, sentimental, manichean, and above all simplistic.
Even if the target audience is 14-year-olds, It doesn't exempt you from a minimum of work
There is really a problem with young characters in anime and romance stories. For the fans, I remind you that we have here, a love story between an 18-year-old teenager and a 12-year-old girl.
Waste of time.

For example :
- How can a girl with such advanced predictive abilities be fooled so easily?
- Why isn't this organisation more developed by building up the atrocities in the first part instead of revealing everything at once?
- The characters presented in each episode lose their appeal quite quickly as the episodes progress, and we end up losing interest in them.
- Yota Narukami is inconsistent, and his apprenticeship has not even allowed him to develop.
- Kyoko Izanami adds nothing to the storyline and is quickly relegated to the background, even though she is Yota's childhood friend.
- Ashura Kokuho deserved more screen time because of his shared past with Yota.
- Why create a fictional disease when neurodegenerative diseases already exist?
I'll stop there, even though I have a lot of questions.

I added this anime to my list thinking it gonna be an Anime with a lot of death, competition and hatred but what it turned out to be was surprising. It was a cute anime about a girl who claims to be god and makes friends with a very ordinary boy. Her power of omniscience helps them make new friends and do things they never thought they could do. In the end the Yota (the ordinary boy) uncovers her past and the show gets dark and sad but like in most animes it does end with a happy ending... I don't want to give many spoilers all i can say is you can watch this anime if your'e looking for a laugh or some cute friendship episodes (subtracting the darker ones at the end).
The mystery catastrophe revealed by the anime series is not a zombie invasion or the result of nuclear fallout. The end of the world is confirmed by Hina's forecast of weather patterns and horse racing results, but her capacity for prophecy is too enigmatic. The anime's plot only becomes serious in the middle of the season when Hina's announcement of the impending catastrophe and the truth about her godly abilities become clear. Because the anime is unique, each episode contains a variety of theories regarding what will happen in future episodes, adding to the mystery surrounding the predictions. The plot of the show doesn't pick up steam until the middle of the season, when Hina's declarations and the reality of her divine abilities become increasingly evident.
To put it shortly this is a good anime.I watched it and I absolutely do not regret watching it.Totally in my top 15 this year.
