It's a day in the life of the Dionne quintuplets. Born in 1934, the simple fact of their survival made them international news. The news gatherers, eager for anything less grisly than axe murderers, gathered around and made them and the country doctor who delivered them international celebrities. The appeared in films, on radio, and spawned the Doctor Christian radio show, movie series and TV series that kept Jean Hersholt employed for the last fifteen years of his life.

In fact, they were perfectly ordinary girls except that each had five siblings the same age. They also had five older siblings.
