The Haunting of the Morgan Estate

There will always be parts of a movie that you do, and do not like. The acting was decent, but it doesn't give off an estate feel. I wish there was a little bit more oomph. But that's okay.

This movie wasn't awful but wasn't the best. The acting was decent, had a good story, I wish they would have gone deeper into the story more, was a little predictable for me.

Definitely worth time to watch though.

This is a great suspenseful and scary mystery movie! A politician and his girlfriend go for a weekend getaway. While there, she meets the mysterious and ominous maintenance man and some unsettling information about a missing girl. She goes on to do some investigating on her own. This movie will keep you wondering what happens next!

I thought as a whole, it was pretty good. There was suspense, as well as a few jump scares. I think the actors embraced the role well, and there was a certain creepiness with certain characters. I did sort of feel the title was a little misleading. I do realize Sarah's part, however I think maybe going a little further with that may have made the title a little more clear. Honestly, I enjoyed watching it overall, and would recommend to others as well.

Ok let's start out with , yes I have given DBS films favorable reviews in the past and yes I know from you the readers perspective looks. I understand that it is almost impossible to trust a favorable review from a stranger but this time I hope you do. To begin let me say that this was the fifth film from DBS films that I watched however this was DBS films seventh film they made. From the beginning of this film I was unsure of the direction of the film, I was unimpressed by the characters they introduced after the bloody beginning, the movie slows down and I tried to give this movie a chance. The movie's pacing was very slow and all the way to the end it somewhat improved but I was left feeling unfulfilled. Let me make this perfectly clear my criticism is my opinion and mine alone however it is important to you the one reading this DBS films has constantly improved their story telling since this film. They are continuously improving and they care about the films they make and it comes through. For a small indie film company they seem to be going very far and I look forward to seeing where there next movie takes them and I look forward to seeing that movie.
