Anything for You

Having become a huge fan of hers via her winning performances for producer Bree Mills, I was mighty disappointed by Serena Blair's clunky vignette as writer-director for Missa X.

It stars Sovereign Syre as a femdom of a stepmother, with nerdy, snivelling Nathan Bronson as her submissive kid. His overwrought, frankly ridiculous performance sinks the piece early on, and his miscasting (role obviously called for a younger-looking actor, not necessarily a Jordi but perhaps the usual go-to Robby Echo) is immediately evident.

For her part, Sovereign is fine in her acting but unattractively styled, detracting from the erotic content. And director Blair's penchant for an edgy, wayward handheld camera is merely distracting.
