Great story and all the actors have done a tremendous job. A good film made specifically at this point of time of our (Assamese) society it's like an eye opener. Mirza did a good job

Director Mirza Arif Hazarika seems to have the audacity to ask oneself for a self-check and ask themselves to have a vivid knowledge about their Identity, as a human being through the proclamation of themselves being an Assamese, as he narrates through the vision of the legends Lachit Borphukan and Bagh Hazarika. The journey of Lachit Hazarika defines how a self made man has to go through obstacles which sometimes he is not meant to fall and asked being a loophole of the selfish society... His constant being termed as a looser mostly by his son Bibhuti, is actually a definition of how we react being right most of the time. The story telling is marvelous as you constant be with each character portrayed. But ofcourse some cast went over the top and Mirza probably had no chances of brushing up as it was the best one could deliver. The story redefines the virtue of true Assamese and it's held up intact. Unfortunately the drama dwells a fall bend only during the last minutes of the film. I wish the fight sequences could be more precise and some audio dub could be mastered more along with a bit brush up on some character actors then Astittwa would have no doubt reaching full marks. But I of course salute the writer-director Mirza Arif Hazarika for taking up such amazing subject and delivering so well. Also Bihuti Bhushan Hazarika is no doubt one of the best actor the industry could ever have and it's because of him you stick to Lachit through out the journey. We expect the team to come up with more such subjects in future but Ofcourse this time without Mirza Arif Hazarika being challenged with some tough to act or over to do actors. Finally I rest my words that Mirza Arif Hazarika penned and shot a gem of a movie. And I rate this movie 8/10 stars.

The beauty of this film is every character is necessary and well executed. It's a balance of Art and commercial cinema. The story drive us to look within us and wake up & stand firm for our own rights and rather than blaming others or hoping from others. A much needed film for the state for sure.
