Bad Omen

A very interesting little drama taking place in Afghanistan and showing a widow, alone to raise her children and who suffers of a poor vision. That prevents her in her job consisting of using needles and an old sewing machine. Plus, because her late husband was supposed to be a terrorist killed during a kamikaze action, she is rejected by her own family - cousins - and from the social help to get a pension as a widow. This short movie shows an Afghanistan from an other angle than the war. The daily struggle of an ordinary woman. Worth watching.
