Very boring and waste of time movie. Boring actor no horror low quality movie. It doesn't fit to any genre. Low quality acting. You guys need to improve a lot lot lot.

I stumbled upon this movie on Prime, just wanting to watch a horror movie. It's horror alright, but not for the right reasons!! Cheap jump scares, typical horror tropes, predictable story, terrible acting make this movie a waste of time. One mistake I did was, not to check the movie's reviews, and that proved costly to me. An African legend that was supposed bring fear in your nerves, turned out to strike my funny bones !! Some of the scenes were so bad that you will notice the lazy production level. Character arc was never in the dictionary of these makers. Probably, it was made for local audience but why not go for a story that is well rooted in their culture. Just plain and simple bad !!

One extra star for scenery of the cathedral, which others have also praised. Other than that, not much else to give positive input on. It is so bad that you might have fun inviting friends over for a good laugh while getting lit.

First off, if you're watching it on Amazon Prime like I did, it does help to adjust it to the original Brazilian with subtitles, because the English dub is reeeally bad. Or if you're going for the fun of it, definitely watch the dubbed version.

This mess is supposed to be horror and I suppose by some stretch it could be classified as such. Is there a genre for just dumb? Anyway, we go back and forth between the backstory of a group of spelunkers touring a grotto, to a hospital where the one survivor is being questioned by a nun and a really creepy woman detective and to a beautiful cathedral. The scenes in the grotto are so mind numbingly stupid...so incomprehensibly bizarre...so headscratchingly hilarious-all while being performed by awful actors having to recite a terrible script-that you simply don't know whether to laugh or just yell expletives at the screen.

What's this film even about? I DON'T KNOW! What's it trying to say? NOT A CLUE! There is nothing good to say about this movie...except for the cathedral.

A grudging 2/10.

Great contradicting dialogue. For example, 5 minutes after setting the guys busted knee, everyone says the guy's leg is doing better. 5 more minutes and their now saying the guy's leg is rotting off from infection. A few minutes after that one of the women are making the guy who set the broken leg up without looking at it, promises when the time comes he will definitely cut the guy's leg off. This is definitely a comedy to say the least. Earlier when the cave collapsed, one of the guys says "Well the cave already collapsed so there's no way it's going to collapse anymore. It's definitely finished collapsing!" If I was there I would have punched the idiot in the face for making such a stupid statement. Then at some point the guide said right after the cave collapsed, in so many words "Hey we need to be careful about conserving our water, we just lost a third of our water!" Then later on they said, "We have enough water to last us for at least 5 days!" If you're not busy and you have 99 minutes to spare for a good laugh, then go ahead, get some good CBD products and some margaritas and sit back with some good friends and get ready to laugh your asses off! This movie has the potential of being funny HaHa or ROFLMFAO if you pay attention to the funny twists and turns in the dialogue. Kind of has a 'ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW' vibe to it after the first margarita and CBD gummie session!!

It's between a 0 and 5. Higher rating if you see this as a C rated movie or a comedy (dark maybe). On the lower side if you see this as those involved are trying to make a serious piece of work here. If this is trying to be a suspenseful film or a horror movie or simply religious propaganda then the writer(s) fail miserably. I dont know if it was translated well or dubbed over poorly so, maybe the blame is on the director and editing team. Scenes would end with you expecting the next scene to carry on smoothly with where they were going. However you get scenes that are thrown in (minor intimations) and the characters in places that we didn't get to see the cause of.
