Tahi - The Human Journey

This movie was beautiful. We really needed this during this time. We are all one, we don't need much to make us happy. All we need is L O V E 💕

Tahi shows an archetypal hero's journey. The movie invites us into uncharted waters and adventures, fully immersing in it. Leaving the comfort zone of Western lifestyle and exploring new territory invites us all to engage in an inner search.

The movie is heart-warming in showing indigenous tribes and their cultures, their connectedness, care, togetherness and the importance of their community. These beautiful humans are without filters or masks, being proud of who they are. This movie touches the viewer to look within and step into their true power and essence, while letting go of everything that they are not.

The documentary filmmaker, Karina Duffy, creator of the feature film: TAHI: The Human Journey, takes you on a second-hand journey to experience Indigenous people living in faraway places on the earth untouched by Western culture. These are honest and authentic people, living in remote places I will undoubtedly never see or maybe hear about again.

This independently-made film spoke directly to my heart and to the core of my being, reawakening me to what is most important in life. It's a brave and bold testament to the good humor, strength, and endurance of the human spirit from people who have nothing of what we value materially as modern out-of-touch North Americans. TAHI is about oneness and acts as a wakeup call to the soul.

After viewing the film I wanted to rush home and get rid of all my material possessions, then call all my friends to tell them I loved them and wanted to spend more time together. I thank the filmmaker for her courage and sacrifice.

I really enjoyed watching this documentary, I didn't want to end. It was very Enjoyable and educational at the same time seeing how other cultures around the world tie in! Tahi! Hopefully there is a sequel to this documentary! Spectacular filming On the part of the camera crew, excellent film overall, highly recommended. I like how at the end of the film. It explains what Tahi is this film was very eye-opening to me, it gets you to Reflect on if you're choosing the right Priorities, seeing the big picture in life, sometimes we get carried away with small worries, documentary it shows you people that have to work every day to be able to feed themselves, excellent overall!
