The Untold Tales of Tuteremoana

Maori? I take it, aired on the GRBC or "FNX" First Nation eXperience, aboriginal/native network that broadcasts on chan 19.1 here in Phoenix, Arizona. It's filmed entirely in nature, near the water and forests. I have not viewed every episode (I thought it was a single movie, apparently there are episodes) and in I assume Maori language. There are displays of old fashioned weaving of fibers from vegetable fibers, many "old" examples. One annoyance was hair, the characters had modern-ish hair styles, in my opinion, not QUITE authentic enough, but considering the series is really displaying Maori culture and mythology, I think it is "all right". Never being a big fan of "aboriginal film" , as I searched for something to watch( on broadcast TV over the air antenna )I could not change the channel once it landed on this series. Entertaining, engrossing in a way. Calming and interesting and lovely to watch. No English dialogue (good!)
