Where Murder Lies

...from one of my other reviews, because it also applies to this equally cringe "true crime" thing.

"This is the lamest of lame type of "true crime," um, stuff.

And in one word, I'll tell you why. "Reenactments." Just ugh. This is the bottom of the barrel approach. It's time filler. WHY would I want to see below-par "actors" pretend to be the actual people, episode after episode.

This isn't meant to be a "bio pic" type of format. It's just lazy.

Just interview the ACTUAL people involved, and if they won't participate, choose another person/topic.

Enough with this streaming "true crime" pablum, which basically dumbs-down the concept of covering the genre.

Find a GOOD doc series. Viewers deserve better. THIS ranks right down there with the worst "reality TV."

At this point, they're just making cheap content that for some reason, people just gobble up. Sad."
