Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge

Played through the story mode with my brother and we loved every minute of it. Nothing in shredders revenge is revolutionary in terms of gameplay/design, but it is a great throwback to why Turtles in Time was such a beloved game. Even the the story can be beat in a little over an hour. There are multiple modes and characters to play as/level for replay ability. On top of that you can play the game with six players coop online. A great game that any TMNT fan will enjoy.

We just got the game on Nintendo Switch and my siblings and I enjoyed playing the game. This is definitely a complete throwback to the original style. I'm glad that they got the original 1987 voices for the turtles. I liked the style and animation of the entire game. It's just like playing the 1987 TV series. My brother and sister kept laughing by doing some of the taunting in the game. I liked the music and Tee Lopes did an excellent job composing it. When we first played, it took a while to know how to use muscle memory for the controllers. Overall, this is an awesome game to play and my siblings and I want to play it again and again. COWABUNGA! TURTLE POWER!

I love the heck out of this game. The music the bosses and most definitely the specials and secrets in the game are all excellent dudes. Grab your pizza and kick some shell guys and gals. Cowabunga!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, TMNT, started off as a niche 1980s indie comic, and now it's a franchise that's bigger than the likes of Superman and Archie. Of course a franchise as storied as TMNT had several video games over the years and Shredder's Revenge took the best of all those beat-'em-ups and made an arcade style game that honors the legacy of the TMNT characters and old fashioned side-scrolling action games too.

This game's simply fun; the story is your typical Turtles vs Shredder storyline, and your job is to stop him from getting ultimate power by leveling up your roster of fighters over the course of an arcade game paced adventure. The gameplay is very fluid and retro-feeling, and the pacing is brisk in all the right ways; sure the storyline is a bit too short for longterm playing, but the story isn't the main priority: it's the fan service of the characters themselves against a simple plot backdrop. And that's more than okay.

Shredder's Revenge is simply meant to be fun, fun and more fun. It's a retro inspired game that balances modern sensibilities with old-school vibes in all the areas it needed to deliver. And for some developers that's nigh impossible to do.

A good time that's simple yet challenging, retro yet accessible for any devoted gamer, and its 'old' but charming aesthetic makes Shredder's Revenge an example of fan service done right.

Play this one on any system (save MacOS, yet). It's worth your time and money. 4/5 stars.

This is beat em up game, is e10+ is just no gore or blood, is just pixel violence, is a good game, but the story is very short, audio quality is a lot problem, I really don't care about it, so is a good game, get this a 9 out of 10, I originally at 8 or maybe 7,so that you have it,
