"A radio DJ, Mao starts a new program called, "Love Letters from the Drawer" to assist people who need an extra push to send out their simple yet very important message for their loved ones. The show was inspired by her own experience after reading a letter from her father after he died. Through her radio show, various characters come to light as everyone awaits for a miracle to happen. The movie is full of emotions and music plays an important part of it. It has a great cast that represent the many faces of love. Parents, sons, lovers, and friends. The movie takes you to several locations within Japan, you can get a look at the beautiful coast and shrine, as well as the city sights"

this movie has become one of my personal favorites. If you liked "Love actually" kind of movies, this is going to be your new favorite. even though there are some stories that you can guess how will end, there is one that surprise me.

Please! give this wonderful movie a chance.

The first seven or so episodes are full of heart-wrenching drama. Once you get passed that, it finally gets good. Then, towards the end, you get more heart-wrenching drama. Overall, I really enjoyed it. It had a perfect ending that will likely satisfy a wide audience. However, it is a very realistic piece, so I will just advise viewers to keep that in mind when starting to imagine the happiest ending realistically possible as the final episode approaches (as we all tend to do). I thought the special needs characters and their reception in larger society were portrayed well. I have never seen that in Korean drama, so that made it pretty unique out of others produced to-date. This one will probably make most people cry on more than one occasion; a real tearjerker. A note on kdramas: they tend to be really slow-paced when compared to American cinematography, so if you're not the patient type who can sit through long, drawn out scenes, you may not enjoy the genre. But, if you are, kdramas display an unparalleled kind of writing and editing style that makes the genre a gem to those of us who crave something 'new'. Happy viewing!
