The Last Union

This is a dystopian short film set in an unspecified time period, most likely sometime in the near future. The events unfold inside a church. We don't know much about the outside world, except that some traditional assumptions about our rights and freedoms appear to have vanished. People aren't allowed to do what they want, but only what the system permits. In this setting, two young people try to escape the dystopian regime, seeking to revive traditions that have now been banned.

Overall, this is an interesting short film with solid acting, but I would have liked a bit more backstory-what is the world outside like, why is it that way, and what do some of the cryptic dialogue elements really mean?
