Darren & Joe's Free Gaff

I have seen some bad shows during the course of my existence,, i always thought they were two catergories, Good, Bad. Just found there is a third one, abysmal. No other way to describe this, apparently they did shorts from youtube and somehow RTE, (an Irish broadcasting company well known for stiffing the licence payers, blowing their money on each other and asking the government for a bailout while paying themselves huge bonuses), thought this would be a well spent few Euro?. Its childish, makes no sense and is obviously directed at the mid to late 9 year olds. If the irish government waste tax payers money on RTE so they can prop up this kind of comedy, then i for one will not be paying my Licence fee.

Loved both seasons. Huge visual improvement in the 2nd Season and hopefully get to see more episodes soon. Amazing to see how the guys have transitioned from Social Media sketches to a production like this.

Strange that the only other review on this is from someone who literally joined just to review this show.

Think of the worst comedy sketch show ever written and give it a budget of 100 euro

If you think you've seen some bad school plays over the years you haven't seen anything yet.

Terrible acting and zero funnies in this.

This is so funny, definitely recommend if you like absurd humour. Really well produced sketch show as well, definitely one of the best ones I've seen since That Mitchell and Webb Look or Big Train, but in Ireland. Hope they make more, thank you lads!!

Humor and the bits are very local to Dublin/ireland so you have to be wise to that.

A very funny and creative Mini TV series, love all the characters and the sketches in season 1, just finished season 2 and I have to say they blew it out of the water, not only bigger better but longer too, double the episodes and season long story arc with small side sketches

a very good must watch for dubliners!
