The Bad Seed Returns

I watched the first and second film back to back, and I honestly enjoyed this one. I'm a big fan of cheesy horror and B movies. This one fits perfectly in that category. If you liked part one then I highly suggest watching part two.

From the first opening scenes I could tell Part two had a much higher budget and quality then part one. The filming is better, the music fits perfectly and it has a bigger bang to it. There are a lot more sets and stages to explore. And a better quality cast. What I really enjoyed is they brought back the original actress. Mckenna Grace is a great scream queen that really captures your attention. And she was what made the movie worth watching..

Yes, the story was cheesy and there's so may plot holes that make your eyes role. Especially when we came to the end. There really wasn't any satisfaction with how it ended. But the one thing I enjoy about the Bad Seed, is that from the beginning you know she's a killer. You get to see the film through her eyes and how she tries to fool everyone. It's a fascinating look at a psychopath and it's done in a way that's different then most movies. I find myself cheering her on. It has a lot of Dexter vibes.

I honestly wish they would make this into a series. It would flow really nice as a series. Especially with Mckenna Grace as the lead.
